I have a 1991 318i w/o fogs preinstalled from the factory. Wondering whether the car is prewired from near the headlight switch to the cut outs in the front bumper. Can't seem to see any wiring near the bumper...thanks.

Mine was prewired. The plugs should be located somwhere below the headlights...at least mine were. -
your car should already have the wiring for the fog lights. by this, i mean that it has the connectors that plug into the lights, they are just tucked away somewhere in the harness.
two things that you need to obtain/purchase are:
-fog light switch (you will need to search the area under the steering wheel for the connector, its somewhere in there. and then plug in the switch to the connector.)
-K8 fog light relay (check your fuse box inside the engine bay. if the relay is not there you will need to get one.)

yes, I have a 1991 318is and the plugs were pre-wired behind the headlight. It's tucked away or zip tied so you have to unwrap it. It's gray.Comment
