Hidden e28 blinkers in grills...anyone ever done it in an e30?

I'm sure some of you guys have seen those hidden blinkers behind the grills in e28's. I was wondering if anyone's ever done it in an e30?

^I think I need that in my life! Are you going to be selling a GE mod for this?

No. I just did it to complement the GE plug and play Bixenon conversion kit i've been working on. I just bought some autopal H4 high beam replacements on ebay for $40 and then some H4 amber LEDs.

Could be done cheaper. You could use a glass cutter and then epoxy the factory turn signal base on to the back of it. $5?

Think I'm gonna try to put a rear rubstrip on my front diving board and then do that blinker behind the grill trick. If anyone has a picture of this done on an e30 then please post it!

There was a picture floating around. They used LEDs and they were not bright enough.
