    still dwelling on this one...

the last post died but i still need help
ive got a 1990 325is with euro smileys, i want the highbeams to not turn off the lowbeams when they are engadged.

i tried jordan's method on the last post by conecting the two live wires together but that just made my my highbeams on always and the lowbeams would get brighter when i clicked the highbeam switch. haha ok so who can help me out?

OOOOOK i got it never mind. Relay 30 to 30 was the only thing that worked properly

it would be really cool to have highs and lows on all the time if you could get the angles perfect and have them both on, then really bright. but alas. now im happy hahah

HIDs. Nothing will render your high beams useless so quickly, trust me.

Instead of bridging the pins together on the relays he did it from within the fuse box.

I must have the only car in the world then that my method works on. I modified relays to allow my foglights to be on anytime, and not be dependant on high/low etc.

Shit though.. I haven't used my fogs in 10 months. They are just for decoration.

Yeah; that will never work unless you bridged them together with diodes or something... I used your way; worked great.

My fogs stay on with the pin30-pin30 mod too. Its just the low power trigger that triggers both on so it feeds back to the foglight relay.
