88 325is Ellipsoid Replacements

I have an 88 325is with the projector/ellipsoid headlights. Due to an accident prior to my owning the car, I need to replace both the left and right side assemblies.

Do all years of e30 ellipsoids fit? Not sure if it matters but the previous owner installed HID bulbs that I would like to reuse.

I'm heading to a local junkyard and need to make sure I dont get the wrong headlights.

Thanks for that info, being new to e30s I'm not sure what parts interchange.

Good used US ellipsoids go for anywhere from $80 to $140 here on the forum. May be your best bet.
