Whenever I hit the brakes, the right turn signal also illuminates. I'm thinking it's a bad switch but I'm not too sure.

Could also be something up with the bulb holder for the taillights. -
I was looking at it today and it only does it when the car is running. This doesn't make any sense to meComment
