Mercedes Fog Wiring

Snagged some Mercedes fogs from a junkyard with bulbs. (off a W123?) I know its been done and I know they fit, I just dont get how to wire them.

I know the e30 high beams use HB3's and the Mercedes lights use H3's. I dont really want to just go cutting wires and trying things. Anybody have experience with this? Do I need to convert the Merc light?

Yes I know about the yellow film. I want to try this.

Did you get the connectors off the Mercedes? If so, should be a simple 2-wire change. Cut the plugs on your car off and splice in the Mercedes connectors.
