    Fogs into an 86 Eta?

Ok, my car is prewired for Fogs (have the bar switch to the left of my steering column). But I still have the valance like this:

I was reading on DIY that said there should be blanks to put fogs in. Not sure if this referring to later valances - is that what they mean?

I saw the same guy who I sourced the above pic selling a valance like this:

But he said the holes were for brake ducting, not fogs.

Sooooo... do I need to get a later valance to add fogs???

Some help would be appreciated, please and thanks!

The fog lights on the early cars dangled from the metal bumpers, they weren't flush inside the valence.

      Thanks!

So it would look something like this:

What kit would I be looking for?

So if I want them in a valance, I'd have to get a late model valance, correct?

        Bingo on both points.

I don't know what kind of kit you mean though?

Well, which lights would I need to get? I'm guessing they need to be E30 specific? Any recommends?

Just about any universal fog will work. No need to look for a fog light that came off an e30 only.

If you want the fog lights to be inside the valance, you could get an early-model eS or iS front valance like this:

They're a different size than the ones that hang from the bumper however and the ones that fit in the valance are no longer available new. They still show up from time to time used, however.
