How do you intend to mount it?

Fab up some sort of bracket.

I haven't really looked into it. I figure, I will get the light and then figure it out.

I'm just curious to see how it looks in an early euro valance.

Since there are two early valances. It may look odd/cheesy with the 83-85 valance since it has a slight slope inward. To where the 86-87 valance is flat.

Are the oem foglights different between the two valances? I have an 82.

Yes the mounting brackets are different. But the light is the same, there is a right and left.

This is the ones you need for your 82.

I have oem foglights currently, but one has a broken lense and it's about 100$ to replace I can get the Hellas for 40/set and they're yellow

Actually the Euro fog glass housings are about $60 each. Maybe slightly less.

I looked into that but I'm tired of replacing lenses, I just did 2 sets of headlights and the fogs look a lot harder to do, plus i like the look of the amber Hellas.

I'm going to hold on to my oem lights and housings in case I can't get the 530's to fit.

From what I can tell, they don't sell replacement lenses for the euro/M3 fogs. You have to buy the whole housing. It's only two screws that hold it in.
