    passenger side lowbeam light

so i bought my e30 up near venice. drove it to san diego and low beams worked, drove from my wifes parents to my parents house and low beams worked. then my cousin flipped on an interior light for a min and then off, after this next start up the passenger side lowbeam only works when the high beams are on. i checked fuses and nothing was blown.

is this a common thing on e30s? and is the using of on of the cabin lights related to the short?

If its a sealed beam. Then the low filament is burnt out. Sealed beams have dual filaments in them. It's no biggy, $5-$10 fix with new light.
