Been there this weekend, thought that and its a negative

Adjusters are completely different, lenses/projectors are much different in size

However euro ellips will fit in US buckets

euro ellips in sealed beam buckets?

Can anyone tell me if it's just a matter of cutting an opening on the top of the sealed beam bucket to accomodate the citylights?
I just bought some used Bosch euro ellipsoids w/smilies and would like to avoid buying euro buckets.

you can use US ellips buckets, but sealed beam mount different than ellips so nope it won't work

Umm, what did they just say? The mounting, adjustment, and just about everything else about the two buckets is different.
