    Light Warning

So I've had my e30 for about a month now and I've left the lights on twice so far (once that that it drained the battery down and wouldn't start). For the past 8 years I've had vehicles with auto on/off lights...

Is there supposed to be "Hey you left your lights on dumbass chime" after you turn the car off and open the door? I already got a different door gong from the junkyard. So it chimes after I open the door with the keys in but nothing after i leave the lights on...

The first thing I did to my E30 was tear that chime out by its guts, but I know our E28 doesn't chime when the lights are left on. I would assume the E30 is the same way. Maybe put a reminder post-it on the dash or console somewhere?

There is no chime for lights on the e30, though some have discussed modding it. here's one for e28's, might just check to make sure the chime input is the same:

      Heres one on r3v:
