    City lights

I thought city lights were supposed to be able to stay on all night without draining the battery...
Yesterday, after 5 hours, I go out to my car from work, and my battery is dead. Only my city lights and tail lights were on. No sidemarkers, no turn signal marker lights...

How long can you guys leave the city lights on before draining the battery?

The tail lights draw more current in when used the normal way. With the euro switch set up, they draw less current as they are set up differently to illuminate for safety purposes.

You're not supposed to elave them on when the car is parked. In Europe they are used as running lights [parking lights]. ON the cars over there the blinker in the bumper is just that, a blinker. It doesn not have the running light since the city lights do that job.

I have mine wired to be on whenever the ignition is on.

and also, the real euro cars, when you put the "city lights" on, and you put the turn signal to the side of the car that the street is on, it will only light up that side. no one leaves thier lights on all night! few hours max.
