    HIDs installed :).

Just installed the prolumen 5000k HID lights that I received today. All in all went very well, just took some time to figure out where to mount the suckers. I put the driver side ballast just infront of the ABS unit on the hump, the passenger side I mounted to the side fender beside the shock mount. They really light up the road and the car looks great from the outside.

The HIDs look a lot brighter in real life then what you see here. They're a bit dark on purpose so you can at least see the output without washing out the entire picture :)

PS. Does anyone know how I can adjust my US Ellips, the passenger side is a bit off.

There are two adjusters per low beam. Remove the grille pieces, and they're Phillips screws that you tighten/loosen to adjust the light horizontally/vertically. Looks good.

Wow, thanks permit! Is this the case with my US ellipsoids as well b/c I know you're using the euro ones.

where did you get them from and how much did you pay?
ive been considering this and i know you can retrofit e46 hids to work
but the idea of a kit really seems better to me
          how was the install?

Install is among the easier things to do. Talk to "habbie" over at Bimmerforums, he sells the kits.

Looks ok can you take a pic from farther away, like 20ft? The only issue i really see is it seems to have a couple of really bright spots and the rest of the pattern doesn't have much light. If you have the extra time, the e46 projectors are the best option I believe.

I'll take a picture later tonight. They light up the highway so much that you don't even need the foglights, the foglights just fill in the sides slightly.

Highs become extremely worthless as well.

Haha ok. Mine arn't aimed properly if you look at the pic. My driver side is a bit too low and the passenger side a bit too high.
