It's actually 4 screws that hold the 3rd brake light on. 2 hidden under the foam pad for the tool kit, and 2 at the top of the trunk lid, sort of under the tool kit itself. Part number and light bulb pic attached, or Sylvania/Osram 921k
When you reinstall the assembly, put a thin bead of plumbers putty (available at any hardware store for like $2) between the rubber gasket and the trunk lid metal. This has worked brilliantly for me in eliminating leaks into the trunk and tool kit. The stuff never dries and is easily removed if necessary.

Reason: added info
You have an early vert, Sean? I had 7 screws - 4 in the vicinity of the toolkit, 3 at the front of the trunk lid.
I couldn't find the part number for the screws but just got some matching size screws, washers and rubber washers at the depot. Rubber washers are critical to prevent leaks, mine were dried out and leaky.
88 vert .... went and checked just to be sure. 2 screws to remove tool kit, 2 more screws under tool kit flap on front of trunk lid, 2 more hidden in the foam. Ok, so 6 total, but 2 dont really count as they are solely for the tool kit. :D
