    hella headlights part #?

Just bought these off ebay. Not sure what bulb it uses? I bought them to use the back reflector part but doesnt look like it will workout. Then I tried looking up the part number but doesnt show up on realoem? Help on identifying what this model headlight belongs to?

    That's a Left side e30 US ellipsoid low beam. Bulb = 9006

The three screws that hold on the back reflector come out with a #3 Tri-wing bit

How much did you pay for it?

The bulb is noted on the label, HB 4-L, more commonly just 'HB4'. It is also called 9006.

Now for the 'shameless promotion' part:

The easiest upgrade, install a modified HIR2, or 9012 bulb. This is the highest output (around 1875 lumens), operates at standard wattage. Has a similar lifespan to stock bulbs (which are way dimmer at around 980-1100 lumens). I can get two for $70 delivered in the US. Very useful if you want 'plug'n'play' brighter headlights without going the HID route.

Boy, that sure is a clean headlight! Are you interested in protecting it from rocks? I sell clear headlight protection film for $24 a set of four... perfectly sized to fit that light.

Not sure why you'd want to take it apart, being all brand new and stuff.

I believe it can be done, and requires
          - replace buckets
          - replace wire connectors
          - relay changes

Not an expert on it, but you can find several on the board.

Now, I can recommend changes to sealed beams with upgrade US style halogen headlights, swap and go. Better lights in US sealed beam buckets is very easy, connectors are not much of an issue either, just a simple change to the relay IF you go with a single filament low beam, and there are a couple of nice ones that are WAAAAYYYY better than sealed low beams (as you know). Let me know if you want more info.

          Good luck!
