Passenger low beam doesnt work

I bought a new e30 and the am working on fixing the little things that were wrong with it to make it a good reliable DD. the first issue were the electrical gremlins I got my tail lights working now. but My passenger low beam doesnt work the driver side does and the high beams work on both sides. The wires look to be fine. the PO said it hit a bird and it hasnt worked since the bulb looks brand new to

What do you mean by sealed beams? They are the us spec hid's it's on a 89 325is

But since you state it has HIDs. Not to for sure what you mean by US spec HIDs, I guess its just the standard US ellips with a aftermarket HID unit in them. So that rules out that they are sealed beams.

I'd start with checking the wiring, and fuse. Then move on to the HID unit itself. Swap out the side that works into the side that don't.

My bad brain fart I got the HID and ellip mixed up. So it would have a sealed beam. would a unsealed beam cause them not to work

You have US ellips in your car. Start checking the wiring or get a test light to see if you have juice to the light first.

Alright. The wiring looks good from the light to the rest of the harness going back behind the rad. I'll check to see if it's getting juice
I'm also not getting anything from my driver side reverse light

Checked i got no juice to the low beam but got 12 volts at the high beam im gonna cut the socket off and see if i got power in the wires

Yea and 7. And I've swapped out relays. I'm not getting any power in the wires either I need to see if I'm getting power in the wires by the fuse. Actually 14 was out. Thought it was good
