Directional light

For some odd reason one of my directional lights blink at a normal pace then the next time they will blink twice as fast??!! I'm sure the people behind me at a light must go nuts because I go nuts just looing at the indicator blinking like crazy. Then at any given time they blink normal.
Anyone out there have a clue??

Corrosion in the bulb housing. Give it a good cleaning with some emery cloth and cleaner.
