That is good news! Anxiously awaiting pictures and any insight on getting those lenses off!Good news, the ebay lenses fit like a glove on the stock housings. I basically destroyed the ebay housing to get them off. I repaired one of my stock housings using the ebay internals. I'm going to try and glue the lenses in tomorrow, and I'll get some pics of the finished product.Leave a comment:

Had the same problem with the passenger side. Emailed the seller a few pics and he told me they all had that issue so I got a partial refund.
The plastic housing is brittle around the opening for the bulb. The projector lenses are cheap and you can see air bubbles in them. Thinking about fitting the matchbox 2.0 projectors at some point.

This is what I ordered. Other than gaskets and electrical connectors they fit fine.

Bingo. I've been doing the same thing. Laminx over used ones.I tried a pair awhile back and they were the cheapest things I've ever seen. It was hard to believe someone would try to sell them. I sent them back as soon as I opened the box. Now when I break one I just find a decent used one and put some lamin-x on it. They always work better.Leave a comment:

Looking at them, the lenses are glued on. I'm sure, with some persuasion, they'll come loose.Leave a comment:

I bought a pair of these recently as well. Mine seem to have come in better shape initially, however I havent attempted to install them yet. The gaskets are slightly too small, but can be made to fit over the lenses without much trouble.
I was initially thinking the same thing as you... if they blow just pull the lenses off and put them on the stockers. After looking at it though, Im beginning to wonder if the lense/housing are one and the same? I get the feeling it may not be removable!
I'll post mine up when I get them installed, most likely this weekend.Leave a comment:

Good to know, I was half considering ordering a set. Now I think I might just replace my missing delete plate/cover thing and call it goodLeave a comment:
