1990 E30 Touring tail light compatibility

    Hi everyone

I have tried searching and for the life of me can't find much info on touring models.
I have a cracked tail lights and want to get them replaced.
Realoem part number 63211386941 for the touring model.
    Sedan part number is 63211385381.
    Are the sedan models compatible?
I know part number for sedan is different but wanted to know for sure.

    Thank you in advance.

I think the sedan is the same as the touring, what year is your touring?

1990. They seem to look the same but part numbers are different so I'm not sure.
If anyone knows who would supply touring parts since dealerships here don't seem to know that would be much appreciated.

The reason you're seeing different part numbers is because the touring uses Euro tails that have a rear fog light.

Any late model tail light will fit your car.

Just to add something that might help you in the future. I have a 84 745I that was only sold in European countries. I will find the part number I need then go back and do a search through Realoem.com and use the cross reference feature. The first time you will probably get a no part found. Then it will give you a USA or Europe choice. Select Europe. It will then add the European sold cars and it lists all the E30 models, ie. sedans, coupes, touring and convertibles.

            Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot guys I will give it a shot. It would be awesome if sedans and tourings are really compatible.
I hope doors and front fenders are also interchangeable.

As far as size and fitment the North American models will work?
Do you know if I would have to rewire it if they are interchangeable?

Yes the lights will 100% work. That's why I told you they would. ;)

The doors and fenders will also interchange.

The US lights have a little tab that blocks the hole for the rear fogs. You can simply remove it.

                    I am relieved.

If I decide to stay M20 instead of S50 I will hit you up for part M20 parts.
