Back up light

My back up light does not turn on when I shift to reverse, and at first i thought my backup light switch is gone, so I just buy a new one. Turn out, the wiring is completely gone - yes, the previous owner somehow removed the wiring and now I am screwed!
Any idea what should I do to make my backup light work without investing tons of time? Thanks!

You can buy the harness new. It runs through the lower shift boot and plugs in near the shifter.

Part number 23141220263 and it's about $25.
