Sealed beam bulbs for a projector retrofit? Not so sure about that one...

See my other thread about getting better lighting. My plan is pretty simple and I feel rather confident it will work.

The back of them are glass, the housing that they sit in are metal.

Is the back of the housing glass or metal? It almost has a transparent look to it with a layer of chromed material underneath. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I was hoping to use these for my FX-R projector retrofit since they were given to me.

If they are glass, I'll have to find some other way.
