Lens?

Okay i got ellipsoids a while back. I didn't convert them so I'm not as familiar with them as the sealed beams. The lens just fell off my high beam. Do i need to replace the whole thing or can i just get a lens?

The car i got these from was in a set. Is this even considered an ellipsoid or sealed low beam?

the lens is just held on with heavy duty silicone. It is an ellipsoid high beam, because you can remove the bulb from the housing, as opposed to be high beam being "sealed."

If the lens didn't break, it can be glued back on with silicone sealant. I recommend clear as you do see it a bit through the glass. Be sure to scrape/clean all the old hardened glue out of the headlight bucket first though. And be careful about cleaning the chrome reflector. They scratch VERY easily which will diminish light output.

If the glass did break, people are often selling them on ebay or in the classifieds section.

I think I've got an ellipsoid high beam with a good lens but a broken bucket...sounds perfect for you. PM me and maybe I can find a box for it.
