Fog light swap problems

I bought those same ones off ebay. They are absolute dog shit. The connecters aren't even close. Email the seller, they should give you a refund. You can find a decent set of use OE fogs and get some yellow Lamin-x and they will actually work.

Yes there is wire missing. There should be a wire from the bulb to the female plug on the left. The wire is part of the bulb, and it is a H3 bulb.

I put the bulb in but it doesnt look like the circuit is being completed here.. Do i need a wire in there or something?

So I am trying to swap over my fogs from these weird looking older fog lights that do not fit the valance..



To these cheap yellow ones I bought:



I bought the correct connectors to fit the new lights and i was just assuming that i could splice the two wires going into the old fogs to the connectors going into the new ones. I tried touching the wires to the connector and Fog light but it did not turn on. Any Ideas? Thanks
