    plastic bumper signals

i swapped my chrome bumpers for plastic bumpers that has 2 front signal lights on it, when i was ready to connect the car signal wiring to the turn-signals plug, i noticed they do not match.

the signals connector wire from the car has 3 space in it, the plastic bumper signal lights has 2. how can i fix this ? i was planning to buy something like this

but the turn signals on it has the 2 metal things not 3 on it.

i need to put clear/euro signals on my car that work, what do i do ? do i need to change the wiring from the car ?

Sounds like someone put euro or ebay turnsignal housings in the plastic bumper. There should be three pins in the connector. If you look at the ebay listing you put up it has 2 pins. One ground and the other for the blinker. Then if you notice it has an extra bulb in it to. That is for your parking light. It needs grounded and the hot for the parking light ran to it.

yea, so how can i fix this ? my plastic bumper has broken turn signals and i wanted to replace them with euro ones. theres 3 pins in the connector from the core, 2 for the aftermarket turnsignals. what do i do ?

            i found these !!

can i cut the current 3 pin female connector and replace it with that connector ?

i just want my turn signals on and working!

Euro will have two pins. Ground and hot for the turnsignals. Since your car is a US car it has three, ground and a hot for the parking lights and hot for the turnsignal. Technically the ones you put up aren't "Euro" they are just eBay crap. The connector you just put up isn't for turnsignals, it's just the side marker light and will not plug into the housing for a turnsignal. Sounds like you need to get a stock set of US housings and just change the lenses for the look you want. Unless if you want to go though the trouble of finding the right connector to go to your current housings.

this sounds easier than what i had in mind. where can i find 3 pin US turnsignal housings for plastic bumpers ? besides our forum here, which i will start a thread later for in sale section.

i have the housings from my older chrome bumpers, but those wont fit so i have no use for them. and the one that came in my plastic bumpers are 2 pins.

That or buy new or go to a junk yard. You'll still need to get the pig tails for these lights though. But it will be a simple cut and splice.
