josh did you only spray the orange turn part of the tail red or all the tail and masked off the reverse?

Quick tip, if they flash red get green bulbs and they will flash orange ;)

I sprayed only the amber corner of the lens, masking off the rest of the lens. I then clearcoated the entire lens.

ahh thanks man, maybe i'll look into doing the clear coat, did you use model paint for that? if so whats the part number for it?

I help him with the clear coating (I actually did the spraying) and we used automotive grade catalyzing clear coat. Stuff was $20 a can, but worth it. I suggest you heat the can up slightly in warm water as it sprayed on really orange peeled when we did it. We didn't care though as we were going to wet sand anyway.
