    smily city lights OEM location

So on the USA model e30 is there a place to plug in the Euro smily city lights?

I know i can just splice them into the running lights but I want to know how BMW did it. let me know guys thanks.

considering USA bimmers don't have wiring for euro rear fogs, I'd imagine the same is true for the fronts.

Or rather more specifically, they took the same wiring and directed it toward the turn signals to use as the parking lights.

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

there is no plug and play method for the city lights unless you consider using the fog light plug as plug and play (this means your fog lights no longer work).

      you have a few options:
      a) connect them to the side markers (use as parking lights)
      b) connect them to the turn signals (use as additional turn signals)
      c) connect them using the factory method and use them as day time running lights (you will have to figure out the wiring for this method)

all of the above methods require some modifications to be made.

i think those are the only options you have. i personally have them connected directly to the side marker wiring because i have euro trim which deletes the side markers anyways.

      hope this helps.
