    All Red Tail lights

    I originally thought that I wanted smoked Tail Lights. But the All Red Tail Lights are looking better and better these days. Anyone know a place that sells them? Thanks in Advance.

    they are sold on e-bay alot, if i was you i'd just make my own, it's real easy

      yeah, save a few hundred and do a DIY job. looks almost as good, at a fraction of the cost.

          I just did this for my E28 and it changed the whole look of the car, makes it look much more modern from the back.

                Being a guy who tends to screw up a lot, I already picked up a 2nd set of tails (for free to boot) to paint over.

                    This is for Flat but gloss is pretty much that same way except you use gloss instead of flat.

                        heres mine.

                        painted over a year ago. i did paint the entire thing. and not just the corners. i wanted everything to be the same color.

                          When you just paint the corner how do you get the reds to match, wouldn't it be easy to make the painted area too light or dark? Does it glow the same color as the unpainted area when the light is on?

                            i just painted the orange and it blended perfectly. here's a pic of how they looked about year after it was done...

                              The Testors Ruby Flake paint is just about a dead match for the red on E30 taillights. You shouldn't have any color problems, just don't use too much.
