    new lenses for the e30?

has anyone ever seen these or used these first hand? It seems like a good way to freshen up your lights.

I think it would be a waste. For the same price, you could just go ahead and get a new H1 or H4 bucket w/ bulb...

I believe most of the online parts dealers sell them. High beam lights are around 50 bucks, and low beam ellipsoids are like 200.

Or get the 5 1/4 inch H4 conversion lights.

I would sure like new lenses on my US ellipses. No H4 conversion for me, thanks!

I wonder about the quality, and the hassle factor of swapping them in.

That is what I was thinking. My lenses are a bit pitted and would look good to have new lenses. I saw the DIY write up that Jordan did as far as turning them into the smoked projectors. I think that would be a good thing to do if these would work well.

Actually, I think it' 5 3/4" for the H4 conversion.

You can get universal sealed beam H4 conversions on ebay for around $30-40 + shipping. Not bad for the priced vs. used or Euro ellipsoids for at least $150.

I think he meant the link to how to smoke elips.
