going to the dealer means an hour drive each way. i guess i'll go. I did break a clip on one side and on the other i broke the black piece that holds the back part of the adjuster. PITA. I guess i'll be making the drive this week.Leave a comment:

parts pimp
Go to mye28.com and find a member "parts pimp". Give him a call, he has quite a bit of euro bits. Hurry, he is about to retire.Leave a comment:

Dave, did you break the little socket that fits over the ball on the end of the adjuster rod? Those were $2/ea at the stealer. I broke 2 of them and used wire ties as a temp ghetto fix until I got to the dealer.
Sorry, I gots no part numbers.

if yer talking about what I think yer talking about...
adjusting screw - #63121385397
this is the adjuster
intermediate piece - #63121378339
this holds the lamp in the fixture (1 per lamp)
black rubber bushing - #63121378369
these end pieces hold the adjuster screw and the intermediate piece into the lamp
double check these part no's on realoem.com to make sure I haven't messed up... the adjuster screws are about $7-8 a piece at the dealer.Leave a comment:
