why do my headlights stay on???

when the car is off, key is out and all switches are off. my low beam headlights are on!

i have switched the relay in the fuse box and they remain on. the only way to get them off is to remove the fuses.

does anyone have any ideas as to where this problem might be from?

i will try a new main headlight switch next i guess.

    thanks guys

This happens sometimes with my fog lights. Only remedy is to pull the fuse and reinstall when I go to start the car again later. Its very odd, but only happens once every 3-4 months.

Sounds like a hot lead may have rubbed through the sheathing and is touching power for the lights, at least conceptually.

I had same problem, took the headlight switch and disassembled it. Cleaned all the electronic board surface and put it back. Issue never occurred again.
