    Hella E-Codes w/LED

This past week I replaced the H1 and H4 bulbs on my Hella E-Code lamps (previously converted from sealed beam) with 6000k LEDs. Love the light quality, but the LED upgrades with the attached heat sink/cooling fans prevent the back of the housing to be sealed from moisture and debris with the old rubber cap. Anyone have a solution?

My wife's Honda Pilot uses H11 and 9005 bulbs which have an integrated rubber seal.

trim the rubber cap and tape it off? They also much universal style rubber headlight caps on eBay and what not but I don't speak for its fitment.
