    Restoring Fog Lights

    Hey all,

I'm currently in the process of restoring my Fog Lights for my 325ix.

The glass was shattered on my fog lights when I purchased the car and they were left on while the car was being used as a DD leaving the interior mirror chrome pretty beat up from debris.

I was thinking about just applying a fresh coat of chrome paint to the interior housing but am curious if anyone has seen this and taken a different approach(besides buying a new set)

    Cheers,

    Jonathon

Chrome spray paint is no where near shiny enough. I did this once on a set of turn signal housings and it might as well have been regular silver paint.

You are better off getting a good used set or buying new aftermarket. You could buy new OE, but they are expensive.
