Anybody ever buy replacement Hella euro glass separate?

I have seen the question asked a few times, and it seems like people know that the glass lenses for euro headlights are available, but I never see anybody say where they are getting them from.

So does anybody have experience / know of a retailer that sells these lenses?

I calles Turner, and I got the same thing from them - they thought the lenses were available, but didn't personally sell them.

The lenses are part of the lens housing of which the projector goes into. (available from factory) I have never seen the hella (definately not bosch) lenses available in just glass form. There are no name lenses available, ie ebay and mr. lens.

I just bought new housings for a set of mine, hence new lenses.

Well, that's a good start. If new Hella lenses aren't available seperately, we should put this to bed so I can stop chasing stuff that doesn't exist.
That said, if anybody has purchased new lenses separate, please post here - that kind of info would save a lot of people from having to buy whole new lights just over rock damage.

linus, I looked, and could not fine them availble. You can use the cheap ass mr lens, lens off Ebay, but in the end, they end up looking like cheap asshole lenses.

Hey Trent - yeah, I looked a few other places as well, and even talking with Jeremy on the phone, and a few other reputable places too - everybody keeps telling me they think the lenses are available separate, but each retailer I talk to says they personally don't have them - were you told the same thing too, that the lenses were available as a separate item?

As for a substitute, I'm not interested either - I have heard of the Mr. Lens thing, but I'm so picky I really don't even want Bosch lenses. I bought Hella smokes, and I want to keep all Hella glass unless I did a full swap to Bosch. I'm sort of OC like that, just ask cheades - he knows me best of anybody on the board.

Luckily, I'm not in a pinch - I'm just a fatalist and want 1 each of the hi- and lo- beam lenses in case a rock kills one. I had a Corrado with e-codes, and never once had a problem because I kept a pair of replacement glass.

im surprised JJe30 hasnt chimed in yet. he bought a set of hella smoked lenses thinking they were the whole light set (brackets, housings etc). they came from germany but were advertised poorly on ebay. the seller has them on there quite a bit, its been awhile since ive looked for them though.

here's what i could dig up.

I took the p/n from the pic that T.Dot_E30 posted and found this

                  9BG 135 941-011 : Dipped Beam Lens - LH

                  9BG 135 942-011 : Dipped Beam Lens - RH

I'd love to get my hands on these.

I'm an idiot. I never even thought to check the Hella website. Good info though - maybe we can get a US retailer to stock some of these so in the future we won't chase our tails over this.
I just talked to a guy in Europe selling these, and if I get a successful transaction with him, I'll make the contact info available and then we can all benefit.

                    Gettin' closer!

FWIW that is not just the lens but also the lens housing. They are still available though nobody can import them into the US as they are non approved lighting.

I went through a dealership in Canada. They shipped them to me. There is a company "AL" that is now manufacturing them. So Hella and Bosch ones are limited. And again, this is for the whole lens housing, not just the glass. (So you would have to dismantle and smoke them)

throught the stealership they are all still available, the hella "smileys"/ hella "nonsmilies"/ bosch"smilies"/ and bosch non-smilies" as well as the "french" yellow tinted glass lights like the ones that I ordered for mine. you just need to order non ECE parts from the ETK.
but like mentioned here, it is not just the glass, it is the housing also without the ellip. part.

my etk on my computer isnt working anymore, but when i bought mine, they were about 80-90 euros for each outer lens, and about 65 for the inner hi-beam. dont forget, you need a set of euro ellips first for all the other parts.
