If you get the prolumen H1 kit it will be 100% plug and play. Except for drilling a couple of holes in the back of the plastic covers for your lights.

The prolumen H1 kit has an H1 bulb but the ballast uses a 9006 connector.

I just installed their kit on my euro ellips and can help you with picture or anything you need.

they all said get the H1 kit, depending on brand, you may need the 9006 plug to plug into the ballast. right now, you're worried about what will fit into your housing, which is an h1.

I have a set of velocitygetter 6000k HIDs in my Euro Smilies, they are great. I love them. Two wire hookup and plug in a couple connectors and mount he ballasts.

On all my HID kits (4) I got H1's and on the ballast, the 9006 connector plugged right into it in place of the wiring adapter provided. Less custom, literal plug and play except on the fixture.

my hella smileys are h1 and i have the prolumens 5k kit.you need 9006 plugs to go into the ballast on the prolumens and then you have the h1 bulbs. there shouldnt be any rewiring needed if you still have the 9006 plugs installed. go to bimmerforums under the GB section and pick up the prolumens kit from Habbie for $255 shipped. theres a bunch of us here in the portland area running them, they are sick!!
