i had this same problem when i installed my HID kit in my car. all i did was i dremelled out the hole where the stock wires go into the cap. i basically just made a hole and put the new HID bulb through the whole and into the housing. so basically delete the stock wires for the ellips. cut them, pull them out just do what you gotta do to get those wires out of there and run the new HID bulb and wires throught the new hole. if you are really concerned about water getting inot the housing, just find a gromet in the right size and throw it in the new hole you made. mine work fine and i have had absolutely no problems.
