Is there a fire risk from installing after market HIDs on our E30s?
Have you heard of a fire caused by the HIDs?
Nope. I had mine in my car for over a year. The only thing I would advise would be to not start your car with the lights on since the sudden surge can blow a ballast but thats unrelated to the subject.
