as long as you have the ballasts you should be good to get some h1s. Habbie on Bimmerforums can get just the prolumens bulbs.

Prolumen 4500k H1, and Apexcone 4300K H1. Both are great kits, with a lifetime warranty. 255 for Prolumen, and 225 for the Apexcone.

Question, how many of you guys have ever had to make use of the warranty? Curious, as there is a local guy here who sells kits for something like $120, but with only a 30 day warranty. You can get a year warranty for an extra $100.

                $230 for 1 year
$275 for lifetime on the new slim digital prolumens?

$45 extra is a lot less than $120

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

I asked if anyone here has actually had to make use of their warranty on HID kits.

Xenarc 5000K. Quality is every bit as good as other HID kits I've owned(one being phillips), and has a 2yr warranty. Even came with powdercoated brackets for the ballasts. Had to build my own relayed harness(a must) but all in all, worth it for 140 shipped.
                        . . .

i had the same problem with my fiances 86 325e 4dr also that i converted to elips. running that new prolumens slimline digital kit i didnt have to use a relay. the big deal on the digital kit is that it steps up the voltage, doesnt put a huge draw on the system. its pretty cool, and VERY small.

We have sold 25,000 kits in the last year and only had 1 come back, gave the guy a new ballast and called it a day.

Our kit comes with a one year warranty, built in relays and fuses it needed.

For 9006 kit I put my 88 w/ US ellipsis the stock harness plugs directly into the ballasts.

If you have a hardon for digital slim line ballasts just add $20 and they are at your door for $180.

yes they will work. All of the bulbs are interchangeable with the ballasts, just unplug the 9006 bulbs and plug in the H1's

I have the Phillips 6k Kit. It works great and throws a ton of light. It is about 3 times the cost of other kits but well worth the money. I live here in eugene if you want to check them out for yourself. Just hit me up on a PM.
