HID Users --- Where did you mount your ballasts?

[Low Level E30]

Having a tough time finding a good place to mount my HID ballasts.

I don't want to attach one over top of the big white factory sticker that talks about Catalytic Converters, etc, on the driver's side of the engine bay.

I also can't find anywhere to attach the passenger side ballast --- the windshield spray nozzle reservoir is in the way.

Any tips?

If you can post pics of your mounting points, that would be awesome!

I mounted mine where you said you didn't want to mount yours. But i think this is a good spot here in this picture. That you asked about in the other thread.

Did you mount them in the same spot on BOTH sides... ? I think that's a good spot.

Here's where i put mine, but i had two boxes to mount per side and i broke my washer bottle so i put them there. I think that since you have one box per side to mount, that they would be better on the fender well by the headlight where i have the green spots and where you can see the other one in the picture in the other post.

I mounted mine on the outside edges of the engine bay in the front. Mostly covered by the plastic covers.
