    why am i blowing fuses.

i have an "e" with an "i" front lip on it and it has foglights that are connected through the factory switch..so the other day i go to turn on my fogs and nothing happens..**fuse** i say to myself..so i get home and change the 7.5 fuse and go to test it out and blows the fuse again..so i try it again with a 7.5....blown again...

    why is this happening..

Are you sure 7.5A is the right fuse? Seems kind of small for fog lights, hence the blowing.

Check your wiring. If the fuse is correct, there must be a short somewhere.

it says 7.5 in the book..but that is for the stock fogs..and i dono if the "e"(bumper mounted fogs) and the "i" (valence mounted fogs) are the same size, power, etc.

Trace the wires, I bet something is grounding out somewhere.

Do you have the wrong wattage of bulbs in there?

You might want to check the power lead wire that is on the back side of the h3 bulb. There might be a chance that it is shorting out on the metal housing that the bulbs clips into as well. Or there is a short somewhere else if you are not running higher wattage bulbs which would blow the fuse that the factory recommends...
