    how to wire depo signals?

It has not been my night!

How in the hell do I wire these things so they work like normal? I went through a lot of rigging and cant get it right. I can get the signals to work, but they flash fast. I cant get the parking light to work at all.

    anybody?

    1. Open lid of trash can
    2. chuck them in
    3. cut your losses

PM Josh, I think he has them in his car... or maybe he just used the lenses... I can't remember.

Believe me...I was tempted! I removed the plug out of the stock signals so I could retrofit it to the new signals....ended up jabbing plastic under my fingernail on my index finger (about halfway down)! I also put a lil scratch on the fender when I took the bumper off, my battery just went dead because my lights were on so long, I blew a fuse and I dont know where I have anymore!.

Like I said...it hasnt been my night. Guess I'll go to bed and try tomorrow. I'll probably end up just wiring signals and not even using the parking lights...that sux though because all this freakin heartache would be for nothin lol.

      later!

Don't they have two bulbs in them? The main one being for the turnsignal and the smaller one for the parking light.

          Right O...

The stock pigtail has 3 wires, 2 are "+" and 1 is ground "-", or maybe its the other way around, I dunno, its late.

Either way, the single wire needs to be split to provide ground to both bulbs, and the other two go to one bulb or the other dependant on how bright you want your markers/turns. If this doesnt make sense, I will revisit it in the morning when I am coherant. hah

well...I finally got it! Something is strange about the wiring, but I figured it out. Evidently the PO had something rigged up before.

            thx!
