Need opinions on clear tails+smoked. Yay/Nay?

Hey guys im gonna need tails sometime soon and i found these all clear ones on ebay, and i was thinking of smoking them pretty dark. I have an alpine 318is.

What you guys think?
These are the tails in question. I would get them only to smoke them cuz i think they'd look retarted just like that on my car.

Then are not the same tails that they have on that M3 in the picture. Anyway they may look fine tinted? But be prepared to be flammed.

yes yes i know. But i would never put those on as they are. Way too much rice. And yes i was prepared for The Suite. But i figured if i smoke them pretty heavily and get them to be pretty dark i figured they might look good.

i just dont look how crystly they look. if the reflectors were more OEMish (yes i made that up) looking they might not look that bad smoked

i photoshopped them, im not that good at pshop but this is what i came up with. I think its not too bad, but hte more i think about it the more im thinking that i should just get a paire of used stock ones, polish them up and smoke those.

get old set of stockies and paint all red then go over with smoked, much better look. and alot less flaming

my post was a joke, i need to try and be more open minded... i agree, smoked, may enhance their look. This would be worth it if those posted above were dirt cheap. also, if you could seperate them and paint the chrome black, that would help too.
