    Cabrio dome light maplight bulb

I am not finding a replacement bulb locally for my cab domelight. I checked around and kept finding the non-cab light only, which is different. I checked around the forums here and don't see any reference to it. Bavarian Auto has the following listing:

    63 31 1 374 798 Bulb - Interior Light ( by rear view mirror ) $9.95

It doesn't look quite the same and besides, it ten frickn bucks for a bulb. I just wanted to double check and make sure it is the right one. Anyone know if this is it or have you seen them for less?

They list a halogen version maybe. I am not sure if it is the same or not.

        Thanks

They are a little cheaper at $7.88, it just seems expensive for a little 12v 5w bulb. I wish they would have used the standard 325i bulb, even the local stores had that one for a couple bucks. Anyway, thanks again.

I had mine go bad. Got it for like $2.00-$3.00 at Autozone. Just take it out and take it into the store to get the right bulb

              tried

We have the equivalent of Autozone here and a few other parts places, but none have the specific bulb for my car. I tried several off-application bulbs and found one that works best, but it is still about half as bright as the original. It almost unusable, but it is better than nothing.

I have one on the way, I just hate to pay eleven dollars shipped for a fifty cent bulb.
