    What are these?

    I have had these lights sitting around for awhile. I have no idea what they are, they came with my E30 when I bought it. From what I can gather from searching on here, they are US-spec Hella ellipsoids. Can anyone help me out?

    DOT = US spec

    Hella = Hella

    Um, yeah, I would say those are US spec Hella ellipsoids. They are worth nothing, you should send them to me for "disposal"

    Just giving you some shit, man. I am full of it, so I have plenty to spare.

      Haha, thanks man. I was thinking of letting them go for $150 shipped, does that sound about right?

        Those are not only worthless, but dangerous because they do not have the updated 'smiley' housing which prevents police radar detection of your vehicle. I will do you a favor and dispose of them, but you'll have to pay shipping.

          $125 is what I paid for mine, in about the same condition, with plugs, etc.

            Haha! The whole time I had my E30 it had sealed beams on it, and I had these sitting in a box for 4 years. I had no idea these were "sought after".

              There not sought after at all...

              As a matter a fact send them to Luke as he has a "green" way of getting rid of them ...

              j/k

              Your price might be a tad on the high side but you never know these days either what things can bring on EBAY... Good luck as I wish I was ready for a set for my second e30 I have recently picked up.

                Why dont you pick up some cheaper HIDs for them and swap them into your car? Your lighting at night will be 1000x better. No fakies. ;)
