    Fog light lense repacement

I am getting ready to but some replacement lenses from www.bmwlight.com for my elips fog lights. The lenses bmwlight sells are plastic. Has anyone used these, if so what are your opinions? Is there anyone that sells glass lenses that you know of?

At least make a token effort at finding this info. This has been covered, a few times.

        Lens replacement

I used them... Getting the old glass lenses out is a little work. Not too bad--just be patient. You can try a heat gun to soften up the old glue. Be careful not to melt the housing. Also a sharp knife to get in there and help cut the seal. Careful again of light housing and digits. One write up said use clear silicone for attaching the lens. I used it but wish I had used black instead. Your choice..

I found a good write up on e30tech. Would skip the breaking glass lense though. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47457
