    9006 HID kits on ebay

    Hey guys i was looking at some hid kits on ebay that say 9006 would these work in my 89 325i with us ellipsoids? Are all kits for 9006 bulbs plug and play?
    seems to be alot on there for chevy's i guess they also have 9006 bulbs and there is even one auction for 2 kits one for high and one for low beams for $250. seems a bit cheap tho

      what sort of kit is it? I know its hid but what are the specs? do you have these?

        I wouldn't go over 5500K. You get the sexy blue color but alot of visibility at the same time.

        I was gonna convert my highs to HID's as well, but when I realized that cars in front of me would start melting, I didn't do it.

          sorry, i don't have the specs for them. contact them and ask. tell him Dan referred you. i'm picking up 2 kits myself; one 3000K for my Hella 500 fogs and one 6000K for the 500 driving lights.

                no worries i guess i'll just have to do a bit more research.

                Is there anyone who bought a plug and play kit that there happy with? what did you get and how much were they?

                  I thought most aftermarket HID kits was plug and play? Cause all it is, is a hot wire and a ground wire.

                    go to bimmerforums, go to the group buys, look for Habbies ProLumens group buy. and order the new 55watt kit for less than that POS stuff on ebay.

                        just ordered a 6000k kit off of bavtoys.com for my lows. are the lower numbers brighter? I'd want at least as bright as my lows on my fogs but didnt want to order the wrong set.

                          from what i understand, yes, the lower the number the more "yellow" the light seems: more output
