    glass lesnes?

alright. this is a often topic, but not a very clear result. I found a website (http://www.bmwpartsonly.com/OEM-Part...wBeamLens.html) that sells a low beam lens. but its not for a ellipsoid.

I have US spec ellipsoids, and i want to smoke them, and eventually move onto HIDs. bmwlight.com sells replica lenses, but they are "strong durable plastic" that "cannot run HIDs because they will easily melt", so says the emails back and forth.

i have seen the 'crystal clear lenses' or whatever their called. someone made a joke that they look like johnny 5 eyes (lol). and 4 lenses from crystal clear are roughly 5 dollars more for 1 bmwlight.com lens.

If I'm not going to run HIDs in my highs, would it look super retarded to have the crystal clear lenses on my lows with them smoked and having HIDs?

this is a original lens from hella: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3091/...19821787_o.jpg

    this is a clear lens:

where does everyone else get their replacement lenses?

Reading is fundamental bro. Read my original post and reply with useful info.

The sentence with 'bmwlight.com', read it. Then get a room on the failboat.

Someone tries to help and you flame them...what's up with that el_asshat?

Perhaps if you spent less time flaming, you might learn to spell correctly.

True. But flaming will come with not reading a post fully, sir.

Don't jump into a thread and post, without reading. Its a waste of my time and someone elses who is also looking for the same answers.

Now what USEFUL info do you have? I care to know, if you have any.

My spelling is nothing compared to pure ignorance of posting in a thread without reading the first post completely to see what the person posting is asking or explaining. Bringing useless info into any post will result in a flame. You will learn this throughout your stay at r3v, sir.

Now, anyone? Crosshairs in the clear lenses? Smoked hellas with clear lenses?

You want some flaming? How about search you lazy motherfucker! Flaming enough for you?

And you want to talk about reading comprehension? Let's take a look at the link you first posted, that is for a replacement H4 CONVERSION KIT and has nothing to do with ellipsoids or smoked lights are any of the barely comprehensible bullshit you've spouted thus far. Take some fucking time and read up on how smoked lights work and then if you still have questions, come ask them.

I clearly understand that the lense was NOT for ellipsoid.

Its funny, everyone has no information for glass lense replacments, but they sure can bitch about shit! Lol

I apoligize, but someone was going to flame first. I was half asleep, and I'm pretty pissed with something on the homefront.

Now, after searching rev, e30, dtm, and m42, I came up with NOTHING.

It's beyond your comprehension to order replacement OEM lens FROM BMW???? Try leaving this site if you have nothing useful to contribute.

I find it hard to believe that everyone with HIDS will dish almost 220 bucks for a all new projector setup with lense if the original lenses crack or fall apart.

Anyone with the 'mr. Lens' run hid's?

and after searching realoem for a part number for such LOW BEAM ELLIPSOID LENS, what outcome do you have? probabily the same as myself. they only have high beam lenses in original and yellow with the link i have.

so no, i can not order the parts from my local dealership, without the part numbers for them.
