sealed beam lights. The bulbs are not replacable, you must replace the whole lamp assembly and the lighting output sucks! At least that's how my 318is came from the factory

What bulb type does the 318is use for high/low beams?

Thanks Dave. Looks like they'll be coming in tomorrow so we'll see. I kind of like the 4300 HID look though...

The Apexcone kits are $44.95, not $39.95.

    The Raptor brand is $39.95.

As did I. I've been running 3k PIAA bulbs for 2 years, they work great. Can't comment on the color, as you can see I have lamin-x too, so it's kind of gold for me.

I totally forgot about that. The DDM bulbs have large wires sticking out of them that run to the ballasts. These wires do not plug in to the stock locations on e30 fogs. So You have to cut holes in your foglight bulb cover plates, run the wires through those and up to your ballasts, then seal the holes around the wires with some kind of silicone sealant. I don't really see the point, it's a lot of hassle. I pulled mine out, bought some yellow H3 bulbs and called it good. they look identical and cost about half as much, plus they drop right in with no modification needed.
