So i confirmed i have the 55w slim kit. The 4500k has now blue in it and almost looks like a halogen bulb in color. There thread on bimmerforums says they are dropping the price to $39 and hope to get it to $20 next year.Leave a comment:

Typical halogen/sealed beam are in the 3000k range
I have the 6000k DDM kits and they might have a slight blue tone to look at the light but the light output on the road is very white.
Look for pictures of JasonC's car with his lights on, iirc he is using the DDM 6000k kits in both low beams and fogs...Leave a comment:

I might just have to order a set, I don't even have ellipsoids just the hella h4s.
Closest to white would be 3000k or is it 4500k? I mean factory hid color as used on bmw/audi cars etc?Leave a comment:

BEWARE! You might have to flip the input from the car to the ballast. I had no light so i call ddm and they told me that this is usually an american car problem. Anyways the work perfect now that i flipped it. pics soon to come.Leave a comment:

Yeah, I see no need to upgrade the highs. Bright enough as is.Leave a comment:

I did by accident. I just changed it to the regular kit, good thing I caught thatLeave a comment:

Do you have euro ellipsoids? With the stock Osram bulbs, the highs are already insanely bright, I haven't seen a car with brighter brights. I think a 55w would get my point across when I'm "flashing" to pass.:pLeave a comment:
