Glovebox Flashlight

I picked up a mint flashlight on Ebay for my E30. The only problem is that it won’t fit in my charging socket. I bought the wrong model, is there any way I could still charge the flashlight using the car or should I make it easy and buy the correct one?

Technically you can still charge it by making the wires longer and finding the proper butt connectors to fit. What I did is I found a female end to the updated flashlight from a e39 and i put that in the place of the oem one. It required some dremel work but it fit in there.

Ok, I think the pins will mate, the only thing stopping the flashlight from going into the socket is the witdth of the flashlight case. Ill look around for some connectors and make an extension with some wire. Does anyone have the socket from an e39 I could buy.
