fog light ?tion - can this be fixed?

so my drivers side fog is broken, bulb is burned out and the actual reflector inside the fog lamp is loose, i was wondering if there is a fix for this? can i actually pull the outside lense off and work inside the light to see whats wrong for sure?

not sure if the backing can be seperated or something??

seems like there is a spring floating around inside too!

There is a fix. Check out BMWlight.com for lenses. I just got mine and the quality is very good, even though they are acrylic. There is a plate on the bottom with 2 screws in it; pull it off and you can get to the bulb. There is a hinged spring clip thing holding the bulb in. Press down and towards the inside of the clip and it will swing open. One of the leads of the bulb will need to be pulled out of the housing. It should be pretty self-explanatory. If the inner reflector is really loose, the only way to fix that is to break off the original lense and tighten the stud that aims it. The clips that hold it in should be okay; they are pretty hard to break. If the inner lense is scratched, it will screw up the beam pattern, and you can't buy them separately, although this shouldn't be a problem.
